Anthony B. Moiforay

Mr. Anthony B. Moiforay is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Harmony Travel and Tourism Investment Services-Sierra Leone (HATTIS-SL).

Mr. Moiforay is a seasoned professional in the tourism hospitality industry. He has a humble beginning starting his career at the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (MMCE&T) where he acquired an Ordinary National Diploma in Food and Beverage Services in 1993. It was at the same institution that he read for his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hotel Management in 2005.

Mr. Moiforay has a certificate in Sales Management and Marketing from the College of Professional Management in the UK.

Mr. Moiforay holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours First class, first division in Tourism Management from the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Sierra Leone. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s Program in Corporate Governance and leadership at the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology in Sierra Leone.

In the job market, Mr. Moiforay has acquired expertise in areas ranging from hospitality administration and management. Across his career in the tourism and hospitality industry, Mr. Moiforay has filled several key positions, including Manager Elly’s Guest House, National Stadium Hostel Manager, and Hospitality Manager at Sierra Leone Agriculture Research Institute.

Mr. Moiforay has played a pivotal role in the modernization of the country’s tourism and hospitality landscape. He is the current President/Chairman of the Sierra Leone Association of Tourism & Hospitality Professionals (SLATHOP) in Sierra Leone.

As an ardent defender of the image and reputation of the tourism and hospitality sector in Sierra Leone, Mr. Moiforay has played a key role as an official delegate in several country missions, with specific reference to a Customer Care and Relations Course on hospitality and management that he participated in at Beijing, China.
